Note

Caleb MARSHALL (5 Nov 1778 Vermont – 17 May 1860) married Louisa SANBORN (15 Jul 1798 Vermont – 12 Aug 1857 Mt. Morris, Ogle, IL). They had moved from Massachusetts to Clinton County, Plattsburg, NY where he is listed in the 1820 Census and later to Mt. Morris, Ogle, IL where they are both buried in the Silver Creek Cemetery. They married in 1818 in New York. She was his second wife, his first being Asenath Robinson whom he had married 1801 in Vermont. Asenath died in 1809 in that state. The children of Caleb and Louisa were:
