Donald 'Mick' Meyers Oct 27, 2007 - 07:06:24 CDT Donald L. "Mick" Meyers, 74, of Jackson, died October 24, 2007, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born September 26, 1933, at Elvins to the late Everett J. and Beulah (Lee) Meyers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. (McDowell) Meyers; daughter, Donna J. Birk and grandson, Chad Birk. Survived by son, Dennis L. Meyers and wife Launa Rae of Bailey, CO; grandchildren: Josh and Clay Birk, Denny Jr. and Bridgett Meyers; brother, William Meyers and wife Virginia of Bonne Terre; several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mick was cremated and his ashes will be scattered at the cabin he built in the Rocky Mountains of Gunnison, Colorado, as he wished. The family will remember Mick, along with his daughter Donna, at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville on Monday, October 29 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers may be sent to McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, MO.
