MRS. FRANK CANTERBERRY

Ida Florence Vandergriff Canterberry, third daughter of the late A. J. Vandergriff and Missouri Rose Vandergriff, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 1, 1936, aged 46 years, 10 months and 6 days.

She was stricken with typhoid fever 21 days before her death, three other members of her family having typhoid also. Her daughter, Irene, and grandson, John Henry Weidknecht, are seriously ill.

Ida Florence Vandergriff was united in marriage to Frank Canterberry on Sept. 5, 1905. To this union four children were born. One son, Harry Francis, and a daughter, Gladys Stella Weidknecht preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, one daughter, Irene, at home; one son, Homer Canterberry, of Ventura, Calif.; one grandson, John Henry Weidknecht, two brothers, Jesse Vandergriff of Farmington and Otto Vandergriff of Doe Run; one sister, Mrs. Frances Brewen of Doe Run; two half sisters, Mrs. Mary Wright of Mine La Motte and Mrs. Martha Faulkner of Cross Roads; besides other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Neidert Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by the Rev. A. H. Vaugh. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Doe Run.
