Crider - McDowell Family Tree

Linda Marie (McDowell) Wheatley, 58, of Bonne Terre passed away peacefully March 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born March 3, 1957 in Bonne Terre. Linda was a member of the Esther Baptist Church. She was a teacher with the North County School District for 29 years, teaching Kindergarten for most of that time.

Linda is survived by her husband, Drew Allen Wheatley; two children, Ashley (Justin) Driemeier and Jacob (Cady) McDowell; two grandchildren, Kiley and Jaxon; parents, Paul "Sonny" and Leona (Carron) McDowell, Sr.; three siblings, Paul (Stephanie) McDowell, Jr., Debbie (Mike) Fitzgerald and Bob (Sharon) McDowell; eight nieces and nephews and their families. Several other family and dear friends also survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume at Esther Baptist Church, Friday, March 20, 2015 at 9:00 AM, with the service following at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jonathan Jones and Brother Ron Brand will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North County Backpack Program.
