19th --1828 in the name of God Amen. I JOHN WALKER of the county of Cape Girardeau and State of Missouri being of Perfect mind and memory and reflecting on the uncertainties of this mortal life do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following: First I bequeath unto my Beloved wife ELIZABETH my eighty acres of land it being the plantation in which I now live, also all my stock and household and kitchen furniture also my farming utensils during her life and at the death of my Beloved wife Elizabeth my eighty acres of land I will unto my grandson HENRY HILL and my daughter NANCY equally to be divided by three disinterested persons in case they themselves can't agree. Also I give and bequest unto my grandson HENRY HILL and my daughter NANCY all the remains of my stock at the death of my beloved wife Elizabeth equally divided between them, also the remnants of my household and kitchen furniture. Lastly I consider this my last will and testament revoking all other former wills and conf--ing this and no other in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 22 day of February, 1828.
