BONNE TERRE -- Ray Clinton Conway, 71, of Bonne Terre [St. Francois County, Missouri], passed away Feb. 25, 2004, at Sunset Rehabilitation Center in St. Louis. He was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Cantwell.

He was a member of the St. Louis Church of God; Big River Hills Eagles Aerie 4210 in Bonne Terre; and the Masonic Lodge in St. Louis. He was a former Commander of the VFW Post in Lemay and a member of VFW Post 6883 in Bonne Terre.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Francis N. Conway and Pearl E. Pinkston; brother, Ralph Conway; and sister, Carol at birth.

Survived by: Two sons, David R. Conway of Bonne Terre and Dennis R Conway and wife Sally (Foulon) of Bonne Terre; daughters, Tamara Conway Madison of Park Hills and Elizabeth Conway Boyd of Bonne Terre; sister, Helen Conway Sisson of Bonne Terre; half brother, Ricky Joe Conway of Park Hills; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one God child.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m., Thursday at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre. Interment at Cedar Falls Cemetery in Desloge. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association.
