Wyman Buckner Obituary

WYMAN BUCKNER

Wyman Buckner, Desloge [St. Francois County, Mo.], died Oct. 18 [1982] at the Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 81. He was born Jan. 16, 1901 in Missouri to the late Robert and Anna Pinkston Buckner.

Mr. Buckner was a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge for 60 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Southern Baptist Association and the Flat River Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife, Maude Son Buckner, of Desloge, a son, Wayne Buckner of St. Louis, three sisters: Thelma Weitzel of Desloge; Jewel Shaw of Desloge and Nellie Turner of Leadwood, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildern.

Friends may call today at 4 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Desloge with the Rev. Donald Stanley officiating. Burial will be in St. Francois Memorial Park.
