THE DAILY JOURNAL, Park Hills, St. Francois Co. MO, Sun. Nov. 16, 1997, page 4 ELSIE (PRATHER) BYINGTON Elsie BYINGTON, 96, of Desloge died Nov. 15, 1997 at N.H.C. of Desloge. She was born Sept. 8, 1901 in Cantwell, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Naomi Land PRATHER. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lee Byington; two sisters: Leavah PRATHER and Bermelda Prather; three brothers: Ferlyn PRATHER, Hilton PRATHER, and Thomas Onie. She is survived by one daughter, Larnie Penberthy of Desloge; five grandchildren: Phyllis Welch of Grove City, Ohio; Dennis Penberthy of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Verna Brown of Archer, Fla.; Wayne Perberthy of Cape Girardeau and Alan Penberthy of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills. Memorials may be made to the Cantwell Baptist Church. |
